Multi-Trust Network Information

The Open D-Star Network

The Multi-Trust Network has been set up in the true spirit of amateur radio, as an alternative to the closed D-Star network, to give repeater owners and developers "Choice".
The Multi-Trust Network is open to all, a network that is transparent, open and less restrictive.

It encourages development of homebrew hardware and software solutions and aims to give developers a network to connect their systems to which has fewer restrictions.

UKTrust is part of the Multi-Trust Network which includes the already well established Xtrust network which is centred on activity in Germany and other parts of Europe this network is expanding rapidly.

The Multi-Trust system uses a distributed architecture developed by the Xtrust Team, using multiple Trust Servers which have syncronised databases, each Trust Server then supports the gateways in the usual G2 form.
Users can connect using G2 routing throughout the Multi-Trust network in the normal way, as far as the end user is concerned there is no difference.

Gateways using OpenG2 or Icom G2 software/hardware are both supported on the Multi-Trust Network. and all are welcomed.
If you would like to connect your Gateway to this Network then please contact UKTRUST
